Things that belong to your significant other
If your doing this for yourself (which you TOTALLY should do) then skip this section! But, if you are giving these as a gift to your significant other, then here are some tips on things you can bring to incorporate things they love.
-Favorite shirt
-Lingerie they've bought for you
-Anything monogrammed or that has their name on it.
-Jersey or t-shirt from their favorite team
-Any sentimental jewelry (i.e. necklace, ring, bracelet)
Beauty Products
Life would be so easy if, when we did our hair and makeup, it just stayed like that and we never had to worry about touchups. Unfortunately, life happens and the wind comes and blows your hair out of place, or you forget you put lipstick on and rub it off. Here's a few things you should bring just in case.
-Bobby pins
-Hair ties
-Brush
-Touch up makeup
-Hairspray
Clothing Items
Here's a few clothing items you should consider bringing.
-HEELS! You definitely need heels to elongate those legs! Black are always classy and nude work well to make them look longer.
-A cozy sweater
-A button up shirt
-If you're style is a little more western, some cute cowboy boots with your favorite lingerie!
Misc. items
Obviously, a boudoir shoot is all about showcasing how GORGEOUS you are. But, some props can always be fun! Of course you need jewelry. Even if you don't normally wear it and you just want something subtle, I promise, it gives just that little bit of glamour feel to it. If you're a reader, your favorite book or just one you're currently reading. Imagine you curled up on the couch in just a cozy sweater with some and socks, reading. SO CUTE! Not a reader? bring your favorite coffee mug, or a mug that belongs to your significant other. Same concept but with coffee. And last but not least, INSPO PHOTOTS! Get on pinterest and find some poses that you would love to try. Pin them and we can reference them at your session!
